Basil Grapefruit Elixir

  • ½ cup freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
  • ¼ cup fresh basil leaves, firmly packed
  • Sparkling mineral/soda water
  • Ice cubes
  1. Using a mortar and pestle (or similar tool), muddle grapefruit juice and basil leaves until well crushed.
  2. Using a small strainer, strain juice into two glasses.
  3. Add ice, and top up each glass with sparkling mineral water.
  4. Enjoy!
