CNR Cafe, NorthbridgeJune 25th, 2012 11 comments
I first spied photos of CNR Cafe’s vegan offerings when I joined the Perth Social Vegans Meetup Group and I’ve dreamed about visiting them ever since. Last weekend I finally got my wish…
It was a Sunday afternoon… People lounged on bean bags in the Northbridge Piazza, soaking up the winter sunshine and the free jazz…
Whilst two very hungry vegans set up camp at CNR Cafe…
The Vegan breakfast ($18 and available all day, every day) was hefty and delicious. The beans could maybe have been a little better, but overall this breakfast was awesome! The mix of salt & pepper macadamia cheese, caramelised onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, crunchy wedges and toast was sensational. Possibly the best vegan breakfast in town, and you definitely won’t go home hungry.
CNR offer raw vegan dishes too (hurray!) and their raw Pad Thai was everything I’d hoped for and more. I tried really, really hard to share it, really I did. This dish was a little on the pricey side at $19.90, but was hands down the best zucchini noodle dish I have eaten outside of my own kitchen and I felt amazing afterwards. So worth it.
CNR offer quite a few vegan and gluten-free options – all clearly marked on their menu. Check out their Facebook page for daily shenanigans and menu updates from their friendly staff, and then round up your family/BFFs and head on down there to try them out for yourself.

Bex is an incredible beauty, who is probably the cutest person I’ve ever met. She radiates positivity so much that she glows, or dare I say, sparkles. I am even more obsessed with Bex and her blog now.KristyKeepin It Kind

Rebecca posts awesome recipes and witty repartee, she is a brilliant photographer as well.
I love this blog for the density of information Rebecca delivers in a witty, fun way. Her blog’s title intrigued me and the content didn’t disappoint. It’s also chock full of great links that have been extremely helpful.
I love this blog not only for her awesome recipes, but also as a testament to how cool it is to commune with someone a half a world away (she’s in Australia, I’m in Colorado, USA).
I love Rebecca’s site. She looks so beautiful and her posts are so down-to-earth and fun. Vegan Sparkles is just an all-round cool site!MadisonVeggieful
Ms. Sparkles is an adorable Australian… We made the Cashew Cream of Mushroom soup and the Moroccan Sweet Potato Chickpea soup. Both were incredible! Vegan or no, you must try them!CatherineThe Catherine Blog

Vegan Sparkles makes me want to go Perth! She has probably won The Sunshine Award a dozen times but she’s just too adorable to leave out of this list.LindsayLindsay is Vegan
